BMW Performance Air Intake
Just got the mailer today from BMW that I'm sure all of you received as well. Specials on BMW performance products.
Do you think the BMW performance air intake is worth the money for my 191bhp 323i? Or should I just save my money in order to get a 335 instead? |

You can't compare the cost and benefit of the BMW performance intake and the BMW 335i. It's not that you save up the money of the intake and it's almost ready to get the 335.

2 different things here, but it is a very personal decision. My 2 cents on this matter are as follows:
On the intake, what kind of mod or performance improvements do you want? It is not an expensive mod but just changing that piece may not be enough. You have improved the breathing in, but how about the breathing out? I think you need both to really enjoy the performance improvements it brings. Also, the cost from BMWHK is expensive, try shop around. As for the 335i, if you have saved up enough, then I would go for it. It is a different car. For sure it is an expensive car, but just think what you are getting - 300+bhp, twin turbo engine, lots of torque...... Cheers, Louie |

I am thinking, whether I should get the exhaust 1st or get the intake first. Of course, getting both at the same time would be nice, but sometimes, thats ought to be prioritise......any thought? In addition, what worries is that if I had them installed outside BMWHK, then, I would end up not having the ECU Remap/Tuning..... |
