Alarm Install Prices?

I've been chasing our CA for 2 weeks for pricing on fitting the alarm to our 325xi before delivery on Friday. How much could it be?...since they need to program the car anyway? How about $795! I suppose all the profits are meant to be after the sale. Today we are starting with the wear and tear insurance discussion for $695, everyones thought and comments would be appreciated, thanks

Buy the alarm online and I heard the install is not that hard and that anyone can do it. So try that...and then go to dealer and have them reprogram your ECU and that is like 100 dollars or something and u r set

If you do get the alarm yourself, mke sure you get the most recent alarm package. I hear that it has a new component that you will need. Sorry to be so vague about it, but I don't remember exactly what it is. I just remember reading about the "newer" alarm system. Someone else here might know more about it. Or i'm sure you can find the info with a quick search.
