Star spoke composite wheel 179

Hi All,

I've decided to get some track tires and lightweight wheels. As such she who must be obeyed has indicated I need to roll on the stock wheels from day to day in order to fund my track junkie desires.

So I'm looking to offload my BMW 179 3 piece composite wheels.

Rears are: 255/30/19

Fronts are: 225/35/19

Presently the wheels are shod with Conti Sport contact rubber, fronts have about 3mm wear left with a little scuffing from my last track day on the outside edge. Rears are on the wear indicators so would need replacement.

Wheels are in excellent condition, no curb rash etc. I've taken very good care of the them over the 50K kilometers they have traveled.

I'm open to offers but looking for about $3200 so as to make the change over more palatable.

Cheers,

S

She who must be obeyed won't release the purse strings until these are sold as she finally saw how much I'd spent on toys for the car

It's not the weight that is the issue.

The size tires they take are not well supported in Aus with few choices. I'm actually going to try some Yokohama rubber on them and see how that goes, but ideally I think I'll get a set of 18's as there are more options available in that sizing.

Then again I may just get some r-comps for the stock 17's and keep these for street use.

Sold the 17's, apologized for mis-understanding which wheels she wanted me to sell

Yeh, seeing this thread confused me greatly. I swear you had Yokos on your wheels last track day.

Then I saw the post dates. Wow.
