Help: transmission jerk when coming to full stop
Hi all,
Im new to this forum andI just purchased a used 05 320i. Ive noticed that the transmission will jerk a little bit prior to a full stop its been quite annoying, Ive searched the forum but there seems to be no cure to this? or a simple software update will cure this problem? has anyone have similar cases! thanks |

Sounds like the torque converter disengaging at idle. There's probably a software update for this kind of thing--335's used to the same issue when new and there was an SIB prescribing progman updates at customer's request... Whether BMWHK will do this for you out of warranty is a different issue though--ISTA/Progman updates don't come free and there's labor involved in what they call "coding the computer"
