5/15 Monticello vs LimeRock
To those you have experience at one or the other or both.
Which would you choose? Monticello with PDA is $350. Limerock is $265. Which is better for a first timer? pros or cons? Thanks |

You realize the Lime Rock NASA/PDA event on the 18 is for advanced drivers only, right? If you are a novice or a beginner, you can't sign up for it. And the next PDA/NASA event at Limerock seems to be in August. The Monticello event is in May. Just point this out to make sure you haven't missed it. I think there are some BMW CCA events at Limerock before August though.
Limerock is fast and fun, but not a particularly forgiving track. I don't know anything about Monticello. I was considering it, but $350 is too steep for a day on the track IMO.

there's the bmwcca event at Limerock that's also for beginners on 5/15. They're both the same day, that's why I'm trying to figure out which one to go to.

I am a first timer and will go to Lime Rock with Manny212 and hopefully Monsta. My take: BMW CCA is cheaper and I have heard the instructors are great.
You should also check all the Promotions that the NJ BMW CCA has (several discounts that can be combined, especially for newbies like us). Lastly, this track is a MYTH!!!

I drove Monticello for a Membership boosting event last year, track is fun but I'm not sure which variation of the track is going to be used and the I rather spend the difference in $ towards another event ect....I'm signed up for LimeRock on the 5/15
