I also just got my R&T and read the comparison between the S550 and the 750li. I would say that the comparisons between the long wheelbase model is right on.

However, the 750i would be considered more sporty - and would have slightly more responsive driving dynamics. One example is the tires they put on the 750i with sport package. I have Pirelli Rosso's and the article said the 750li had the Goodyears. This must be a factory specific item. For the 750i's (demo's) I have seen with the sport package = the pirelli runflats. and the 750li with the sport - goodyears... Maybe the goodyears are tilted toward comfort? In any case, when I first saw the demo with the goodyears, I was a little concerned about my car
