Summit Point this Weekend
This weekend was my first 2 dry days on the track and the car was flawless. I put a set of Hawk HT10s on the front and they worked great. Morning sessions were a bit brisk (high 20s to low 30s) but the PS2s seemed to work pretty good after getting a little heat in them.
As rusty as I was after only 6 days on track last year and the long winter......I was able to significantly increase speeds from the e46 S2 M3 with track tires.......

what kind of times did you find you could manage in this car -- and how did they compare with the old M? I'm looking forward to getting to summit soon -- and hoping to beat my old car's best time of 1:26.5

It's was a BMWCCA "school"...........no timing allowed.......130-135 mph at front straight versus 120-125 mph in the M5 or the e46 M3 if that helps. Instructors were running about 1:30 laps......
