Quick Pics of E90 Space Gray/Oyster

Just washed it - some were asking to see Oyster with Space Gray exterior. The camera sucks, and the leather is actually not as "white" as it looks in the shots. It's got a very slight tan/pinkish color to it. Nice combo though, IMO. Sport seats are great!!

This is the first time I've been able to see the different colored kidney grill slats.

Yeah, it's a pretty car. I didn't think I'd like the combo, but it's growing on me. My wife loves it.

You could be a bit more subtle. It's my wife's car. I like aluminum too, but she really wanted wood. Her choice. I actually like the wood, but would have gotten the lighter one if I had to choose again.

Don't take it too personally, Phil G. There's always got to be one "if you don't have what I've got, yours is crap" type of response to a thread like this. And not everybody likes aluminum anyway, it is pretty cold, common, and dentable, so I can understand why your wife wanted wood.

Your car looks great, I love they oyster interior, and the wood's okay too.

Not as bad as I thought they would be. My 19" RS4 wheels on my TT are harder. But since I put ceramic brakes on the Audi, the wheels are MUCH cleaner since minimal brake dust.

Yep, I think so. I might get aluminum if I were buying a 335 coupe for myself (which I might do next year), but my wife really likes the wood - since we got the oyster leather (too masculine for her - she preferred beige -but since the car's eventually going to my kid, we opted for oyster), the wood was her call. I'm fine with it. You're right - if you don't get exactly what others have or want, it can't possibly be a good choice. I've always said that colors, both interior and exterior (which includes wood v. piano black or aluminum) is so subjective and a matter of personal choice.

Hey Phil G., very nice car you've got there! It's just like mine, but I didn't get the xDrive version. What options does your car have?

Thanks! It has steptronic (w/ paddles), premium, sport and cold weather packages, xenons, Logic7, satellite radio, and iPod adapter. Essentially everything but nav and comfort access. Nice car. Do you have the same color combination??

Love the look of the oyster.....not too sure about the Space Gray though...

Thanks for the pics!

Your kid is very lucky....mine were handed down 1994 Civic & 2002 Jetta, but I loved them as much as I do the E92 (I love my kids too). OK, so maybe I love the E92 a little more.(than the Civic & the Jetta, not the kids)
