Wind Noise?

I test drove the new 750li. Has anyone else who test drove the car noticed significant wind noise on the highway around 70-80mph? I went in to order the car but changed my mind because of this, waiting to see if they fix this.

It reminded me of what I've heard about Lexus LS460's wind noise on other message boards.

When I test drove the 750Li, I had it up to about 160km/h (100mph) and was driving on a concrete highway that I know I get significant tire noise from and the cabin was quiet (radio was off and I had a conversation with the two other people in the car). No significant wind or tire noise. The car had Goodyear Eagle-LS 245/50R18 tires mounted at the time!

real quiet

No problem with wind or tire noise and I drove the sport package with the low profile run flats in Sport mode at speeds up to 90 mph.

Sorry--I test drove another one and the wind noise problem was gone. I guess one of the windows was ever so slightly open in my previous test drive. Now I am picking up my own in a couple days.

That's good to hear

I guess you are picking up a dealer pre-configured car from their lot?
