Is this 04 545i a good deal?

My buddy is thinking about buying a 2004 545i that is near where we live. Here are the specs:

-93k Miles
-slate gray/black
-Looks very clean, no dings, scratches, seats look fine (saw it in person)
-Sport, cold weather, premium packages
-Carfax says one owner, and no accidents, only service appts.
-Only 16,995 not including tax, etc.

He is worried about repair costs and all that but I am not sure what the e60 reliability record looks like with that many miles. I told him a bimmer with 90k is like any other car with 30k miles.

Are there any issues that he might have to look out for? What
are the approx costs? Any other tips? Here is a link to the car.

04 545i

Thanks for the help!

Update: The dealer guy just called and said he put all new tires on it today too! Sounds almost too good to be true.

Wouldn't do it. 93k miles is alot for 17k. There are better deals with half the mileage and go for 20-25k. I rather spend the extra $

Picked mine up for around 30k for 35k miles and that was a 07. Now with the economy there are plenty of deals.
