TCK D/A and Stoptech PORN...

A few pics of a car we finished up today. Customer had custom made CCW wheels with Nitto NT01. It has the most caliper clearance I've ever seen!

We actually used 80mm studs as well. The face of the wheel hides them well.

Can you tell us what the rim model, widths and offsets were? Also, how was the clearance between the caliper and the barrel of the rim - that's where 380mm BBK's and 18" rims get pretty close.

Car with wheels on it.

Front kit is 380mm 6-pot, rear is 355 4-pot.

Wheels are CCW C10. Unsure of offset, you have to call them. This is the first set they've made for the E92. Tires are 275/35R18.

Running RE Stud Kit.

the ccw's don't look bad at all. I wonder how they would look in a bigger size...

Perhaps...depends how crazy the owner is. Nitto NT-01s at street tires? That's hardcore traction for the drive to the office.

600 front/600 rear.

More BBK pics for you guys. You can see how much clearance the 18" CCW C10 has around the caliper body.

Some rear pics of the Stoptech kit as well. Cutting of the rear dust shield is a bit of a pain, but takes time.

Thanks for the info and bumping this old thread. I missed it since it was from before I had my car.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Hmmmm. This makes me think. I have 5 BBS REs in 18 x 10.5 with three at et25 and two at et29. I might be able to create a killer track set-up ignoring my et35 18 x 9.5s. Anyone want to buy 4 18 x 9.5 et35 BBS forged magnesium REs (16.8 pounds each)?

Yea talked to CCW today on the phone...

Might get them to build me a track setup...

the main prob right now is.. no manufacture makes a good 'drive to the track Rcomps' setup for our cars.. all the rear tires are 30 series sidewalls.. Just to short to support the rear.. and we can throw a 305 back there.. just wont fit..

but i think i am going to get a good offset so i can do a pretty stout 295 semi slick...

I bet the E46 guys would be all over that setup. Try the for sale sections. Good luck.
