Finally! Pictures and Videos of my car with mods- UUC Corsa exhaust etc....

Well, the M3 has 3500 miles on it and there have been a few things added to it.

-UUC corsa Exhaust ( I know everyone hates the way this exhaust looks but i think it looks pretty good, centered, meaty etc...)
-BMC Air filter
-RPi Scoops painted Interlagos Blue
-RDsport springs
-Blackline Tail lights
-UUC short shifter
-Painted front Reflectors
-Glossy Black kidneys painted Sapphire Black (little bit of blue flake)
-H&R 15mm spacers all the way around

Pictures first- Videos last- 56k, hit the BACK button

Enjoy!

Great mods. Car looks awesome and the exhaust sounds amazing. How do you find the fitment of the BMC? Any play like some say the aFe suffers from?

Thanks for sharing.

No, there is no play but the way the overall design of the m3 air filter was designed could have been thought out better IMO. I dont like the fact that the filter is just pressed onto the intake boot by a little springy finger. Its just kind of awkward. If you are referring to the rattle that the 'afe guys' are talking about, i have it too... I think its just the resonance of the air box/filter setup. I think the only way to get around it is to spend 100,000 dollars for the GruppeM intake. Even the stock airfilter has some 'rattle' to it- seems like the filters that flow more air make the rattle issue that much more noticeable. I dont think it has anything to do with the actual filter...

Tasteful mods...exhaust sounds fantastic...oh and your spacers are just perfect for the wheels. Stance is aggressive and looks factory (not ricey).

Nice car~ The tips look a little funny on the car, but the exhaust does sound really nice.

The tips only look funny from a side profile. They kind of look like a beautiful girl who has a stubby thumb! lol

Hey John, what you think of the UUC SSK? Worth the money? How much did you pay for install?

Is it lowered? In some pics it looks like it is, in others it doesn't.

Also, I know I'm in the minority with this but I don't like how the 15mm spacers look. The rears stick out too much.

Otherwise looks great!

The car sounds and looks great. The 18s never looked so good in pictures.... Great job.

I wonder how the tips would look on the back of a E92 M3 rather then a E90. If anyone has pics please post. Is this a muffler only? How much?

I love the SSK. UUC did a great job building it- it is your usual short shift- more precise, snick snick feel. I have let a few people drive the car with it and one even said that the car felt like it had an electronic shifter it was so direct feeling.

I installed the SSK myself- I do all of my own installs- took about 1 hour considering you have to drop the exhaust down + some heat shields.

yes it is lowered, it is noticeably lower from the stock height but not quite 'on the tire' like i want it- Im sure the springs will settle some. There is only 200 miles on them so far.

the UUC exhaust is direct bolt on and includes 2 mufflers and 2 pipes that connect to the factory X pipe. Its great- the exhaust took 20 minutes to install!!! Its very easy- its only a few rubber mounts and 4 clamps- (2 v-bands)

Great videos...the sound seems a bit on the conservative side...but definitely a nice note. The price can't be beat though...def a contender IMHO.

People don't like how the exhaust looks from behind the car. I don't think it's that bad. For the price, it's definitely a good exhaust choice. I'm waiting on the RPI and Rogue systems to be released before I decide. Both should be priced around the same as the UUC.

Yeah, I'd like to see what the Rogue unit ends up being like. I loved the Diablo on my e46 m3... Pricewise...I'd be surprised if they come in this low. I'm guessing they'll be closer to the 2000 to 2200 mark. We'll see.

What kind of experience did you have with the Diablo unit on your e46? Did the exhaust have any drone to it? Does anyone know if Rogue makes their own exhausts or if they outsource?
