E90 vs E92 on the track

I plan on getting an E90 since it will be more pratical on a daily basis. Just wondering if you any of you guys w/ E90 track (Auto Cross) their M?

From what I hear the performance is up to par w/ the E92, but I wanted to get personal experience from you guys.

Have you driven both on the track and felt the E92 performed better than the E90?

They are very similar in my experiance. If you want the fastest M3, buy either with as few options as possible.

the 4 door is just as fast on the track as the two door ... as is the two door just as practical on the street as the four door.
