bmw 1 series headlights
Hi there
Has anyone got info on getting some aftermarket xenons or projector headlights for a non xenon car as they seem to be available for every other BMW for less than £200 |

I have just ordered a new 118d M Sport and resisted the temptation to add in the bi xenons - over £700.
I would be interested also on after-market xenons, corona's etc for the face lifted 1'er. |

If you wait there will be someone who will do the xenon aftermarket headlights
I am currently talking to a chap in portugal who does supply the full kit for 500 euros and some people have bought these off the forum so before long we will see the kits at around £300 |

I agree with changed - I didn't get them becuase of cost - and now really wish I had! Worth the extra.
You can buy bulbs to improve it (which is what i'm going to do - philips make some good ones) - but basically still lacking. |

my god how bad is my typing!!!
what annoyed me is being a BMW virgin, i didn't realize i also wouldn't be getting the angel eyes.. don't get me wrong as soon as a conversion that work and is cheap is out i will be sniffing around, but whats is really cost? £5/mth over 4 years? teh thing that really annoys me now, was i got offered a car in stock that had the same spec as my order except no pro stereo, but it had xenon on.. i could have had that for teh same price overall as what i spec'd up.. doh! easy to change a stereo! |
