Westside 1er Meeting?

Sorry...I'm still new and not sure if there's any 1er meetings out here in the Westside? I see some out in the Bay Area and towards Irvine but just curious if there's any local ones out here (West Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Gardena, etc.)? If there is, please let me know. Would love to check out other 1ers to see what they did to their cars ,etc. Thanks again.

I'm in Venice, and was planning on trying to set up a West LA (or just LA for that matter) GTG. As soon as my car comes back from the body shop . . .

If anyone knows of a good location let me know . . . The Culver City In N Out/Costco is always popular for some of the other groups . . .

I'm up for a meet around WLA/Brentwood. Saturday afternoons are best UNLESS...

...you want to do a nice twisty mtn. drive at dawn. Say 6:30 or 7 a.m. start up Hwy 2 (Angeles Crest Hwy) and back down Big Tujunga. Or up Latigo Cyn. Rd (Malibu) and back via Mulholland/Stunt/Fernwood or Tuna Cyn Rd. These are the roads the 1 will truly shine on.

...of course, nothing crazy. Stay safe and in control.

Yeah...for sure once you get your call back, let's get together. In N Out in Culver is fine and even going up Latigo, Mulholland/Stunt works for me as well. I'll let my fiance drive if we take that route. He's familiar with that road since he takes the motorcycle out there early Sunday am. Depending on what morning we go, if we take that route we can even stop at the Rock Store for breakfast?

I would be interested. Don't think the rock store is a great idea on the weekends...no parking. I go up there on the bike, but tough for cars. Could dump out decker to pch area and grab lunch at neptune's net in malibu. (more car friendly)

I've been waiting for something like this. Couldn't do it this weekend, but I would be up for a drive next weekend. I've done Mulholland a few times and it's a lot of fun.

I'll be out of town next weekend, but the better DRIVE is Hwy 2 (Angeles Crest Hwy to Newcomb's Ranch)... return on Upper Big Tujunga to Angeles Forest Hwy to Angeles Crest Hwy or Big Tujunga. Start by 7:30 a.m.

I drove up Latigo last weekend and honestly, it's pretty beat up and narrow (with a bit of fallen rock). I would not recommend it.

I've bicycled every major mtn. road in Malibu. A couple nice driving roads are: from Malibu Cyn Rd. Go up Piuma, left on Schueren, and down Stunt to Mulholland.

I'm thinking of getting a Detail Meet together. It won't be the typical meet where we get together at a parking lot, check out cars then bail. This one will be sponsored so the products to detail our vehicles will be free. I believe you just need to wash you car the night before. Let me know who's interested. If we get enough, I'll get rolling on scheduling this.
