Some of the covers are not transparent.. I believe the only ones that are transparent are the gunsmoked and (silver) etched glass.
Also, here is the official ambergone thread, please have comments and questions in here: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11967 |

Gunsmoked is a gunsmoke tint color that is transparent. Black is literally a black color and it will not let any light through.

No pics of them yet--maybe you can order them and post some pictures! PM me for details Well once someone orders black, we'll definitely get a picture posted up here asap! |

I've been waiting to see these for the 1er. Like others I need to see how different colors look on a 1.
Will you guys be making these in SGM? I'd definitely be interested in either that or CF.

The Gunsmoked covers aren't that great. They don't really hide the amber reflectors, they just turn them into dark amber reflectors.
The Silver carbon fiber covers would be much better. They effectively hide the amber reflectors and make the headlights look crisp and clean like the Euro headlights. I just checked **********s site. The Silver carbon fiber covers are also cheaper than the Gunsmoked covers. Another plus+

Now that's nice! much better than the gunsmoke. Now just have to see it on a alpine white 1er and also how the white vinyl looks.

The etched glass is transparent as well like the gunsmoked. I've seen these on the E90 on all colors, and it looks really good. Universal pretty much. Quote:
