Euro half-shadow grills
OK I just noticed something after seeing this pic 100 times -- the grill is black but with a silver border. I know you can buy all-black grills, but can you get these as well?

We get this grill on non-6 cylinder models, ie both diesels and the 120i i believe

Yep. Only the 135i gets the chrome/shine on their grills.

imo this look is much nicer than the all black. but i can't decide if its nicer than the 135stock grill. btw, the 328/335 have the same type of grills, respectively.

That's the standard grill on all non 6 cylinder BMW's.
I personally would keep the stock 135i grill as it distinguishes the car as 6 cylinder or change to full shadowline.
