Visiting Munich in July. 1 Series as rental?

I'll be visiting Munich in July. Are there any car rental companies at the airport that rents the 1 series?

You can get a 1 Series from SIXT at the Munich Airport for Euro 306.31 [currently $473.40] It is considered a Compact in the same class as the Volvo C30. Note that all you can rent is the Hatchback with a manual trans, but they do have air [you will need it], NAV system adds about Euro 1.79 a day. Unlimited milage and it will be a diesel. If you need a childs seat add another Euro 6.25 per day.

Diesel is currently running about Euro 1.40 per liter, make sure you get an International license from AAA as it is real easy to cross borders. You can't take a rental car into the Czech Republic without speficic permission which no major Rental Company gives, beside the train is much better. Drop me a PM and I can provide more info

All prices noted, which are not Euro, are US $, and disregard the AAA remark, but I would strongly recommend an International Drivers License, you will be 1 hour from Austria [Wonderful mountains, really bad basements], 3 hours from Switzerland and 3-4 hours from France

YOu are able to rent a 128I from damn near any car rental place in Germany. Sixt is the easiest and quickest one though. They come in both Manual and automatic transmissions, the 128i is governed at 120mph on the rentals but no need to worry its acceleration is just as fun and on the autobahn you won't have to worry about getting passed from very many people. my 128I does 158mph thats with the new ECU but its still the fastest 128I around the 135 has me by about a half a carlink in the quarter till my full exhaust and new pistons come in
