My SA says it costs about $150 and estimates two hours of labor @ $140 for a total of $150 parts and $280 labor = $430 (plus tax).

He said it also requires "programming" which baffles me because it is simply an antenna connector and a power connector.

I assume this would take me 15 minutes to install by myself, what do you guys think? Ripoff?

The labor sounds like a complete ripoff. Also, keep in mind that a new iphone will be coming out within the next 2 months, and the form factor might change slightly.

Yeah 5 weeks by the looks of things, but based on the look of the adapter it'll still fit (And the connector is the same).

I'll be waiting anyway as I dont get my car for another 3 weeks anyway.
