Need to Now how to reprograme the Computer

Hey, so does anybody know how to reprogram the computer on the car?

If you install an alarm people are saying you need to reprogram the computert on the car. How do you do that?

only the dealer can , unless you have bmw technical equipment

I've read for the newer BMWs, they have been releasing less and less documentation for programmers to do it for themselves. :iono: Your best bet is to pay to have it done at the dealership.

In order to program a BMW, you need an OPS head w/OBDII, MOST, and LAN cables, an SSS computer with the latest version of Progman, and a Deutronics power supply. All of that is going to cost several thousand dollars, assuming BMW will even let you have it.

That won't do anything.

BMWs are a lot like computers (pre plug-and-play); you need to install drivers for a new piece of hardware to work. You can't install a video card, unplug the computer, and expect it to work as soon as you restore power.
