NO. it's a way to get more cash out of you. They're run flats and they're selling you fear. Check out a thread about flats in alberta (none, ever pretty much) for support of this.
(just my 4 cents btw)

Go to the 1'er test drive event in Alberta and you won't need to worry about the tire warranty purchase.

How many months financing is that? and what's the interest rate on owner's choice now? I'm still debating whether to finance or do the balloon method for my vehicle.

$684 is for 48 months, ballon paymet of 20600.00 interest was 5.95%. Balloon payment makes much better choice in my case, although I hould have just bought it, but I will bank the other and it interest on that money. Thanks GB |

Let me get this strait. For your car 135i you paid the following
$15000.00 down 684 month x 48 months = $32832 and an end ballon payment of $20,000 So that is about $68,000 for a supposed entry level BMW! Holy smokes that is frightful:eyebulge: |

thats crazy if u think about it that ballon amount means ur going to have to save $429.16 every month for 48 months to make that payment... i think thats where alot of people will get nabbed, thats like a 1113/month car payment in reality

yeah
mine will work out to about 60 after interest. the 135i is not an entry level bmw. p.s. the way I see it, the balloon works if you are certain that you can get extra cash flow in from somewhere else... like tax returns, investments, etc... I dont really think many peopl save up the money... it would be hard to compete with the interest rate

Let's not forget the TAXES, Freight and other little things. In Ontario we pay PST which is 8%.... I hope that clear it a bit... Leasing would have been more.... If i choice to buy it.... |

Well as entry level i was referring to the 1 series in general (as this is the entry level to getting a bmw) , the 135 is above say the 323 and 328i in respects there.
However adjusting to overall equity you have in 48 months, say you pay the 20k in the end balloon, you still have the car itself and if say car was 30k in value then your 68k would be 38k as you have 30k valued car at that point. Then you could move to a newer model or just keep it. |
