Westcoast Canada delivery

I've noticed that a few people in west coast of the US are taking delivery. Did these cars come on the same ship? I'm guessing our cars might be coming very soon if not already at the docks locked up. Anyone tracking their cars that are from the west coast?

I think the cars are here already but are being held until the 22nd.

Hope so, I can't wait to see your SMG 135 cabrio. During this summer I'm going to plan a drive up to Whistler and back down. Should be nice if there isn't any traffic

yeah I believe the cars are already here as well. I don't have any info on my car because it's an early April build, late May delivery.
But I CAN NOT wait until the car is officially launched and my dealer phones me for a dibbs in test drive...

what exactly WILL go on at launch?
some dude drives the cars from the back to the front floor?
or will there be an event at each delaership?
I am not asking for fireworks, but drinks and getting to sit in it or hear it roar would suffice for this impatient customer.
test drive later.

Well with the previous launch party at Brian Jessel that I attended for the unveiling of the new 3 series, there were drinks, a DJ, and sort of like the unveiling of the new 3. I expect that the launch party for the 1er to be very similar.

We'll have to get out early on the weekends before the Porsche Club gets out

I had been expecting an email from my SA but it never came so I finally contacted him instead. He said they should have a 128 ready by about 11 AM on Saturday but no 135. He then emailed me back to say there would be a 135 that should be ready by then as well.
Not exactly what I would call a release party
Anybody else have any more exciting info?

I think Canada cars arrive at Halifax and are freighted by Rail across the country. Mine is oin the M/V Boheme which is arriving in Halifax tomorrow (Mar 22nd.)

phaze, I think the two they have are demos so not yours. It sounds like the same two cars I took the pics of last week.
Yours may be tucked away in the back somewhere. They just don't seem to want to release very much info do they?

Yeah I think that may be what the dealership is doing. I find it interesting how US dealerships released all their cars a few days before launch. I find it even more interesting how they released them without floor mats

I'd drive with plastic bags on my feet if I could have my car early

So are you flying to Halifax to watch it drive of the boat??? Maybe stow your self in the car and ride home on the train in your new machine.

I have to talk to my salesman and get my VIN and start tracking my car. I had a mid March build date and it is due here mid April. I'm sure they would have a more accurate date this week.
