loaded price

I'm thinking that a 36 month loaded 135 is going to be near $600, and dropping to about low $500s about 1-2 years thereafter.
I threw some figures together and didn't account for a money factor (interest) but threw in a 60% residual. Hopefully it'll be stronger.

539 is damn cheap for a fully loaded 135i a 335i fully loaded would be close to 700 if not more.

I thought premium and sport were standard on the 135i?

I'm not sure what kind of math they are teaching these days, but I'm thinking that it's from the "Land of Wishfull Thinking". FWIW, I think that your numbers are way off. Hey, but in "The Land of Wishfull Thinking" maybe you can win the lottery and it won't matter if your lease payment is closer to $700. :iono:

Nice theory on pricing/leasing...

Thats less than I'm paying for my `03 ZHP, by, well, a lot...

I might just purchase and not lease then...

well my 330ci is 550/month (tax included) and it's a 24 month lease, so the 1er should be way cheaper than 700

Residuals on a two year lease are pretty high and the OP quoted a three year lease for a loaded 135i, so it won't be way cheaper than 700.

BMW subsidizes leases. I have a 05 330i Loaded except nav $44k out door $530 w/tax, the interest rate is around 1.5%.
BMW currently gives very low rates, From Road fly
2008 BMW 328i Sedan
24 Month – Residual 71% of MSRP – .00165 Base Rate
36 Month – Residual 61% of MSRP – .00165 Base Rate

, (This is about 3.9% well below current loan rates)
to keep the 3 moving, so a 335 in the 500's is not out of the question. Dealer employees got them for I beleive $350 at the end of last year to help with the sales numbers.
This car is way to expensive for it's competition, there will be very good lease deals by fall of 08, just like the E90 needed help by te fall. So do not fret over the sticker BMW will want to keep the volume up at the end of the year so if you can wait the deals will be there.

Agreed that there are some great deals on the E90s now, but as a new model the deals on a 135i won't be so great initially. Patience will probably be rewarded, although there are some wildcards (devaluing of the dollar, credit crunch, etc.) so nothing is guaranteed. It will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

I priced up a 335i at the dealer in september with:

metallic paint
sport package
heated seats
premium package

= $684/mo.

Tonight (online) I priced up a 328i with the same options that I aim to get on a 135i, and the prices came out to be very, very close (about 46k after dest & taxes)

The outcome was 644/mo on bmwusa... which in my past experience with multiple bmw's has ALWAYS been high.

Expect a 135i 36 mo, 10k mi, minimal down (<500), taxes in payments to be about 550-575/mo.

That's what I thought, too. Where do you see what's included in the sports package for the 135 if it's not already included? The BMWusa site doesn't seem to have configurator yet.

BMWUSA has had this deal for many months on the 335i coupe. Basically it's a 36 month lease, $3600 total out of pocket at inception, and $549/month. It figures in the steptronic tranny, but you could prob change that to the sports package and call it a day as well....

Not even close (350 a month) or my wife would driving a 335 instead of the X3 she's in.. i looked at one through the employing pricing and it was still like early 400's with some equipment..

There's a base for employee pricing, but to drive sales and a stronger BMW image, they offer specials. When the M Coupe was released, shortly thereafter the price for the M roadster was dropped to ~350/month for a short period.
