Is this a reasonable price estimate?

For a Jet Black 128i...

-Premium Package: $3,250 (Terra Leather and Burl Wood Trim).
-Steptronic Auto: $1,275
-Xenon Headlights: $800

Option Total: $5,325

128i Base Price: $26,000

Total: $31,325

As much as I would love to see $26k starting for the 128i, I just can't see it happening. I'm thinking more in line with just over or under $28k

Maybe on European Delivery but not if you buy in the US. More along the lines of $28 - something.

I think you have the options priced about right, but I think $26k base might be a little to low.

Your better off shoping interest rates than you are worrying about the price of the car or it's options.

we're thinking the same. i'm a bit more optimistic on the 128 pricing than most ... i wouldn't be surprised with $28.xk base ... but yeah $26k is a bit of a pipe dream i'm afraid ... imo.

I'm sure BMW will bow to your will, just add a year to your delivery time.

Like someone else said, how many threads do you need to repel the fear of 128 is out of your reach? No matter how badly you want to stay in denial, it may mean after all that you are not in the market segment BMW is after. Dude, I wish it came out at $25K-$26K as much as you do, it just ain't gonna happen. $27,500 the lowest and more likely high $28K to $29K.
