Montego 135i Profile pic..

Not many photoshop pros on this forum, but those that are here I've noticed have some incredible skills...

Can someone photoshop shadowline trim in place of the chrome, and delete the amber corner light reflectors...

Many thanks if advance if this is possible.

you know what though.....even though I think cars should be black, white, silver, or gray, life would be certainly boring without colors like that......

Outstanding! You also read my mind when I created the post... with the window tints that is. Thanks for the great work (and new background).

The bmwusa 1er minisite clearly talks about the 6pot brakes....

Quote:
We believe performance is as much about stopping as it is about going. We also believe our brakes should do more than just brake.
That's why we designed our dynamic brake control system. If it's raining, it'll keep the rotors dry. When starting off on a hill, it'll keep you from rolling. If you quickly pull your foot off the accelerator, it prepares to brake just as quickly. And, if you're braking repeatedly, it adjusts to compensate for brake fade. Plus, the large, ventilated front-brake discs cool the system and increase efficiency.
And for the first time ever, the 135i 6-piston performance powerhouse front disc calipers are painted and feature BMW badging.

Why wouldnt it be? Its been on every BMW since who knows when...

I'd lay money it will have one, I've yet to see a picture of a 1er without them...

Also, something clearly shown on the BMWUSA site...

This looks like Montego Blue, yet the file name of the original picture is lemansblewzx7.jpg? I'm not trying to be difficult or restart the debate on Lemans vs. Montego, but I would like to pin down the actual color since the original shot is from BMW.

Heh amber reflectors suck... I'm not going to be baking these either too much going on in the headlight (projectors, "smart turn" mechanism etc)... I really hope for a group buy on euro-spec headlights.

Where did the original blue pic come from? Or is that just a photochopped version of the sedona red wallpapers on BMWUSA.com?

LOL. Once you mask the body, you can change it to any color (hue/saturation layer) you want to (or don't want, in this case):

Ok, since you did Purple, how about an orange one like the original 2002, or the crash car on the safety section of the new one site? I think Orange would look bitchin. This car begs for bright color.
