Wow, just amazing. I didn’t know I had to explicitly say 135I considering I am on a message board about the 1 series.

So, please allow me to reiterate my query.

Are there, or does anyone have any pics of the 135I with grey poplar trim? I have already seen NUMEROUS pics of the 335i with grey poplar trim on e90post, because I am in the market for that car as well. However, a 335i is not a 135i neither in exterior or interior design.

I wanted to view the grey poplar trim on the 135i since it seems there is A LOT less trim on the 135i. I hope this clears my question up. Thanks

Wow, your sarcasm while asking for help is just amazing. The reason 1ster pointed you to the 3 is because photos do not exist on this site of the configuration you are asking about. If photos are not on this site, the odds are that they aren't out there. I think he also assumed you had a bit of an imagination and could picture the 3-series trim on the 1 since the vehicles are pretty similar. Hopefully you can see, that 1ster's response was actually pretty helpful, and your pedantic response was completely uncalled for.

Thanks for the help ^. Unfortunatly I cannot go to the UK site its blocked here in Iraq for some reason.

I will not start or be a part of a flame war on a message board, I am above that. I am just saying if I wanted to see a 3 series interior I would have looked at e90post for them not 1addicts. As for using my imaginatio,n tell that to everyone doing photoshops of different colors. I blame my imagination being lost on the Simpsons. That is all and it ends, peace out.

Ideas for getting around blocking software =)

http://cybernetnews.com/2007/09/19/c...cked-websites/

The most creative is probably to use the below URL and replace 1addicts.com with the location you want to visit

I really like the gray poplar as an option to the piano black. Everytime I see that dash pic, I can just imagine myslef behind the wheel driving the crap out of this car. Do I need help?

Thanks for all the help everyone. Our firewalls here are pretty good when it comes to proxies. The problem is that websites are associated with certain words. I.E dating, love, sex, relationships, proxy etc. So if the firewall detects any of those associations it blocks them. Even google translate is blocked. But once again thanks for the help.

Also thanks for the configurator pics I appreciate it a lot.

I wish BMW would make a low gloss wood as an option. When its super shiny like that it looks fake.

I agree. Compare it to the wood on the new Jag XF. Super-sexy!

Yes but not going to happen. Looks like plastic wood instead.

After driving a 328i loner for 2 weeks while my M3 was in the shop I came to terms with the fact I hated the plastic looking wood.

I was sold on a wood interior in the one to give it a little more upscale apperance. I have had to BMW's with the aluminum interior now so I did not want that again.

I think I might have to change to the Piano Black trim.

they do!! have a look at the 7 series config.. its really cool, infact the alpina we had a while ago had it.. My boss hates it and in all honesty it doesnt sell well but its neat coz its different.

this doesnt do it justice its alot lighter in person.. the brochure is better but really nice in person.

Not from the factory, you would have to swap it out after the fact.
