Amazing how the wrong wheels kill the appearance of a vehicle. BTW, it looks really small in these pics. No rear end at all. Very short rear overhang. It kind of reminds me of the E30. |

About 10hours ago, from my (spider;-) apartment. The distance is about 40-60meters, depending on the position of the car.
My cam is also not the newest but.. the cars looks much better in motion! I guess I could try some better shots tomorrow morning, if the car is again there. |

Very nice. I currently have a Ti-Silver Z4 and it's equally nice on the 1er coupe.
I'm going for the 128i Cabrio when it comes out next year and had already planned on silver as the colour. That said, I don't care much for the single pipe exhaust. |

Wow, those are fabulous photographs in spite of the fact that you didn't get ideal conditions.
That is a rare car- look how the roundel is covered in front and in back. It also has the #4500 series Munich License plates...( this one #4592) ...we've only see the prototypes wearing it. Daromir you should tell us a little more...for instance what's the car doing in Austria- is it part of a dealer campaign to introduce the 1-er? |

Well, my apartment is next to a small store of Bosch, a german company producing also parts for cars.
...well, and every now and than BMW & Co. are sending their prototyps for check ups, testing, who knows.. and then those cars are standing on this parking lot |

Yea! 128i
It kinda stands out in sliver, almost as if it were less likely to be involved in an accident. Hmmm... Eos or 1er, Hmmmm...Damn Germans Its gonna be a matching accessory for my new ipod too. |

128i? 135i without the M-sport package? A turbo diesel? I'm not sure. I think they are going to sell the 135i without the M-Sport package in Europe. There seems to be a screen that could be protecting an intercooler underneath the licence plate. That to me suggests it is a turbo car.
It looks like it has the front dam with fog lamps, so it doesn't look like a 135i M-sport (unless it is an early pre-production test design). Pre-production could explain the lack of sun-roof or any other trim feature too. The only thing we can tell for sure is that isn't Chucky driving it (unless our barrage of insults has forced the poor guy into a crash diet). Somebody is going to have to go down there and take a pry-bar to the hood and find out what's under all that silver. |

Guys, my guess would be that this is a 123d. Wouldn't be a 128i if it's going to stay in Europe, and I think the 135i comes ONLY with the aero stuff - no matter where it is sold.

Yep, I personally think it's either the 120d or the 123d cause of the single pipe exhaust and no chrome kidney grill.
..and, diesel cars are quiet common in austria (approximately 60% marketshare). And I have also a german pdf. from BMW where it says, the 135i will have a M-aerodynamic-package. Concerning the driver, in fact, I was making the photos during two different time periods, while the car was leaving. And either there are 2 different drivers, or the first driver just put on another shirt. BTW, the first-time-driver with the white shirt does not wear his seat belt.. tz tz tz |
