The 1 coupe's "bone line"

It may come as a surprise to you to learn that the 1 coupe has a very prominent bone line (insert your own adolescent joke here ). This design term refers to the prominent sharp crease running along the shoulder. A definition of it is to be found in the design glossary of Car Design News:

A bone line is a hard, positive only, linear 'peak' in a car's bodyside, more prominent than a crease line.
