Eurostart Remote Start
Hey there!
Want to go for a remote start kit for my F30. I've found the Eurostart: https://www.eurostart.com/product-ta...mote-start-kit. I've heard one or two good opinions on it, but it's a little bit pricey. Do you guys recommend other remote start kits? |

If this is anything like the bimmer-tech.net version it requires sacrificing a working key fob which is always in your car inside the box the kit provides. They say there are security procedures to protect your car but consider the risk of keeping a working key fob (albeit with no battery and without the casing) in your car.
If you really want to go this route the version I mentioned is cheaper and is probably the same thing. https://www.bimmer-tech.net/category...start-retrofit |

There is a DIY remote start here that also uses one of your FOB, but does it securely. You need a bit complex electronics and coding experience. Range limited to your OEM FOB range unless you "splice in" a commercial remote control pair.

No prob. No sorry I haven't tried one myself and not aware of anyone that has. Try searching for "remote start" and you may find someone that has.
