Hazard Light + Headlight Controls Stay On After Locking

Is this normal? I lock the car and hazard light and headlight switches stay on. I read the car goes in sleep mode but is there a way to have this go off with rest of the car when locking it?

Yes it's normal and has been since at least my E90 3 series. Why do you want to disable it? It's not exactly drawing an inordinate amount of power…

Weirded me out. Just looks awkward and thought I forgot to edit a setting. Just seems like a weird thing going on.
