I've gotten that twice. I'm pretty sure the front camera was dirty. Clean it and you should be fine.

Check the center cameras behind the rear view mirror while cleaning your windshield. Mine had fallen due to a broken clip

I have had this issue twice (in less than 20 days of ownership). First time a sensor had lost calibration. Second time is awaiting diagnosis, but I'm guessing it's the same sensor acting up.

Picked my car up today the tech told me they have to replace the Karfas camera. There are none available in the USA so they had to order from Germany and he said it's going to take forever.

My only real complaint is the rattles coming from anywhere they used plastic lol

So the dealer calls me and they received the camera and asked me to come in. They replace the camera and it still will not calibrate. They are now telling me it could be the mount that comes attached to the windshield that has a tiny gap.

Now they are saying they might have to replace the windshield. This is ridiculous already! They can't identify the problem.

Thanks Justin! Sorry I did not see the original thread. I am pissed because now I have to retint the windshield but, BMW will pay for it. It's just lame they don't have a easier fix. I guess on the bright side all the little chips in the glass from the Los Angeles freeways will be gone.
