Floridians, need your help tracking a scammer!

Hey Guys,

We received an order for over $1,000 from a client in Miami named "Dennis Niemeyer". Turns out the card used was possibly stolen and we are currently working with PayPal/credit card company to get things sorted. Does anyone know this guy, or know of him? Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you don't want to post info please feel free to call me or PM.

Thank you very much!

Miami is one of the biggest cities for scam. And if you used Paypal for credit card purchasing, I really hate to say it but good luck. We've got 2 right now that they customer received there products and still filing a chargeback and Paypal wont do crap.

Good luck

I hear ya. Good luck. We are more than likely going to eliminate PayPal. Currently fighting $2,700 in fraudulent transactions total w/them, this is just 1 of them. Going to press them as hard as I can, will update in this thread when I have more info. Others were through eBay.

Since they were 335i downpipes, I am hoping perhaps it is a member on here, or at least someone on here knows who this dirtbag is.

The internet was a great invention, but it makes stealing far, far too easy.

I would assume PayPal is going to cover you? Are you a verified/confirmed Paypal member? Was the purchaser? Why would you eliminate them? After they do their investigation, they will likely find that you did the right thing . . . assuming that you sent the pipes to the address that was confirmed . . . I guess paypal is trying to pass the loss off to you. . . ? hmm

When you use PayPal Virtual Terminal there is no seller protection. Just the regular chargeback process. AMEX card was used, and they side with cardholder about 99.999% of the time.

Yup AMEX is the worse. Even with legit cards and legit customers and shipping to confirmed addresses verified accounts, Paypal is just about the worse. We did everything by the book and still lost out on the last 2 transactions totally around 4K. People dont realize how much a business takes a hit when this happens. Hopefully this doesnt give people ideas lol

Ugh.

On a positive note, I think I found who the dirtbag resold the downpipes to. Stay tuned.

Got a call from another lady that had an unknown transaction on her card. Looks like the same guy.

Whoever he is, he is really good. Even got the AVS/CVS to match. Filed an official complaint with the FBI ICS, and am working some other leads.

If you google that phone # you have there, it comes up with some info about someone hosting some events in FL.

Hope it helps

so much of this bs happens in FL. Lame. I know that BavDom, one of the vendors on this forum that took a LOT of money from a LOT of members was also in FL.

Nevertheless, hope you find this douche, and have him by his balls.
