It all started as a goal to one day own a true M. To preface I am a college student who works at a local BMW Dealer just having fun and thought I'd document it along the way.

While combing through the forums the other day I stumbled across ebisu8 's honestly insane build. It gave me inspiration for my own and the want to create my own thread. While I will not be going anywhere near the pace or cost of his I think some people out there might find my taste, lets say interesting. My build will take inspiration from his as well as Valvetronic's M2 Moto GP Safety car build, along with my own ideas here and there.

Before I collected my new to me M2, I had the opportunity to own a beautiful Alpine White M340i. During my ownership, I installed a VRSF high-flow downpipe paired with a proTUNING Freaks Bootmod3 Stage 2 tune. The car was a rocket ship that never failed to perform. While I loved that car dearly it ultimately wasn’t what I was looking for. It was fast, comfortable, reliable (for a BMW), and was already ready to party.



The only thing it was missing was the raw feel of adrenaline with every bump and curve in the road. Now onto the star of the show my 2020 M2 Competition DCT in Hockenheim Silver. I was given a bit of a head start with the spec I chose. It came with these parts from factory: M Performance carbon diffuser, carbon winglets, carbon mirror caps, carbon m2 fender inserts, full Alcantara LED shift light steering wheel, and finally 763M Frozen Gold rims.



So far I have done the basic mod of swapping out the M1 and M2 buttons for gloss red variants from IND.



Following this, I then installed a cat-back FI Exhaust system which brought it to life.
Disregard the interesting at-home install, didn't have access to a lift and trusted that stump with my life.

Thank you! I really appreciate it and I'm right there with you. I've seen the normal, full Alcantara, "flat bottom" style and this one just hits the spot miles above the rest in my opinion.
