Rear-wheel steering?

Can anyone confirm the M5 LCI has rear-wheel steering? I'm finding conflicting answers online.

110% does not, turning radius kinda sucks actually. It's not truck terrible, it's just not great, my S5 was a lot better, my RS7 (longer and wider car by a few inches in each direction) had rear wheel steering and could park on a dime; tightest turning radius of any car I've ever owned. I could parallel park that thing in the smallest of spots and back into my tight parking area at my house like it was nothing...the M5 not so much. It's not nearly as capable at city parking and the rear wheel steering is sorely missed. Still the better overall car, but if you're used to something with rear wheel steering you're going to notice that it's not there.

No. This is because the rear wheels are so wide, that if it had rear wheel steering, the tires would rub against the wheel well.

Also, in the models with the rear wheel steering, you notice how weird it actually is.

I have it in my 750i and M850i, and you notice after 130mph *cough cough* the back starts to shimmy a little. It's as if the rear wheel steering motor cannot handle the force and speed of the car. It's as if it's too weak, and accidentally lets the rear wheels turn a little.

Had rear wheel steer on my 911 GTS with 305 tires on the rear and no problem with rubbing. That car could do a 360 around a grapefruit. Disappointed BMW couldn’t figure it out for the M5. Note that the AMG GT 63s also has rear wheel steer and it gets around twisty race tracks noticeably quicker than the M5.

Yes, Porsche and Mercedes do have it because their wheel wells are much wider on the inside, able to cope with the tire moving in there.

No rear wheel steering. Turn radius is still reasonable considering the long wheelbase. If you want to turn on a dime though, just put it in 2WD and apply liberal throttle...

You might be confusing articles about the M5 with ones about the M550i which has optional rear wheel steering available. F90 M5 does not, never has.

It does not have rear wheel steering, I feel it is less maneuverable in tight turns and parking than the Toyota Sienna which I have…
