The app is updated today for iOS. Also there are some new maps but here's what I don't get.

There used to be a stage 1 93octane map, latest version was 2.1. After the update there is still a stage 1 93octane version 2.1 map and a separate map labeled stage 1 93+ thats labeled version 2.2. I can't tell if it's an update to the map I already have or if it's a separate app that I'd be required to purchase additionally.

Also it's a bit confusing because now there are:
Stage 2 93 octane version 2.1
Stage 2 93+ octane version 2.2
Stage 2+ 93 octane version 2.1

In the enthusiast group over on fb, they mentioned that the new stage 2 tunes were set up as new maps since not everyone would want to run their cars at the maxed out.

So the v2.1 is still what stage 2 was before the additional maps and the v2.2 stage 2 is a completely new map that outputs slightly more power. the 2+ requires the HPFP upgrade.

Do you know if I have to pay for v2.2 of the map if I already have v2.1? I don't have the map bundle.

I flashed the new 2.2 93 map that requires only a downpipe. Gawd damn, it is vicious! Feels like a lot more torque, much easier to get wheelspin, etc.

Only drove around for 20 minutes today but will go for a nice ride tomorrow.

Yea it is looking it. Someone else mentioned the same thing and I assumed from PTF's response you'd have to pay for map pack since it's a completely separate tune.

Here was the exact comment from them:

I decided to make it as a new map. Not everyone wants maxed out potential for this hardware. Also not everyone has access to good pumpgas, that's why it's made as new maps.

I noticed it too. Looks like some rework in the torque curve and at least seemed like torque comes on much earlier.

You will find out pretty quickly if you need the maps bundle if you look to flash it and cannot

They did a hell of a job to max out the stock HPFP safely on these and do 30-40whp even in some parts of the power band. They pull very noticeable stronger than previous.

Any experience with the new Stage 1 93+? Just read in fb group the reports of some cars going to limp mode, when floored with DSC on...

Just for reference, on Android the app updated, but there are no new maps. Are the .2 versions more aggressive? Or less? If they only require a dp amd not an fmic, I assume they are less aggressive?

Lol that's incorrect, but I did figure out that the updates are for the b58 maybe? I'm n55, so I may be excluded?

My bad. You can't tell on the app when you're just reading "new posts". I wondered why someone said no tunes require an fmic

No, they are just newer/more refined versions of the older map.

Stage 2 93 octane version 2.1
Stage 2.0 93+ octane version 2.3 (new torque and load strategy)
Stage 2+ 93 octane version 2.1

soooo... bigger question is when the stage 2.0 for 91 octane is coming.

In case somebody's interested, PTF already fixed this issue earlier this week. Flashed the Stage 1 93+ and like it - feels smoother, more sporty, and the torque build is more progressive with revs. The transmission (with xHP) works also better with this map.
