Has anybody else gotten "The Edge" from Fairfax BMW

I cant believe it

Has anybody else who recently purchased a car from Fairfax BMW gotten "The Edge"

.. its seems to be a pretty cool complementary Program available to those recent car purchases.

They gave it to me after getting my 09 M3 DCT yesterday

The folks from Fairfax are giving this service of free dent repair, free car key replacement and pickup at your location, car washes etc to new car buyer

I've upgraded my 08 to an 09 /M DCT last nyte and was surprise they enrolled me in this program for a year at no cost.

Pretty cool! I'll take anything thats Free!
... just hope I dont have to use that Dent Repair Portion

as much as I've been a 6MT man, I'd say the DCT definite has some faster feel to it. Asad the CA gave me a test drive and taught me the proper way to see and appreciate the DCT difference. He asked me to step on it and dont let GO and upshift when it gets to to 4k rpm and continually do it as it gets to each gear.
WOW! Brothers and Sistes I taught I saw heaven and earth met for awhile.

Unfreakingbelievable!
The gear change was smoothier and quick but had a crisp snap to it.
It certainly will give a smile to your face. In a blink of an eye, you're hitting a 100mph. WOW! this is trouble folks.

I cant say enough thks to the folks at Fairfax BMW, especially Robert Ogust GM & John Hayes the SM for helping me make this dream come true.

Hope yo see you guys sometime to also show the new iDrive

btw! any photos from the Sterling Exotic Car Meet?

the new i-drive is simply amazing. i am working on a 09 red / bamboo, i drive and all the good stuff. I have the current i-drive, the new one blows it away. worth every penny for the new i-drive.

But just found out from Gadget the new iDrive DVD playback capability last night and tried it.

WOW! no more drive-in movies... Movies are available 24/7 on any parking lot with handbrake ON (a DVD playback requirement)

heres a small clip of a movie on the new ver.4 09 M3 iDrive in premium sound.
The Clip does injustice to real life

Aw say it's not so...defected to the better side Huh? Well congrats! Enjoy your ah 'new" car! LOL That was quick! Too bad you couldn't have had them ship it back down to the PDC center! Now that..PDC AND your DCT would have probably put you into an orgasmic ecstacy! LOL

Would "think" about doing the same except that 1) they don't make Sparkling Graphite anymore for '09 and that IS my color 2) I doubt I'd get at trade what I paid for my car...since I got mine thru mil sales which basically is invoice...the new car would be almost $10-15k more according to the sticker you post!

So although the DCT sounds like a winner...just don't let the dealer change the DCT oil/diff at the 1200 service okay! LOL I'll stick with the 6MT club...maybe in 2010 or 2011 I'll trade my '05 997 (here's a pic of my "other" baby..was changing my oil before I left for my deployment) in for an '09 997 S with their new PDK dual clutch and experience it that way!

Anyway...enjoy! Look forward to seeing you guys again in 2009 sometime. Save a spot at the "Spring Cleaning" Drive/Meet for me! Hope I am hope by then...
