DIY help
I haven't done the oil change on my own but i know that i can, just don't have the tools. For the brake fluid, is it a flush an bleed of the system? Don't have the tools either smh. Called my local dealership na was quoted $235 for brake fluid service and $150 for oil change, and $179 for vehicle check smh. Wouldn't be bad if i could knock out the oil and brake fluid service on my own. This where not having tools kills you smh. Feel free to comment any tips and suggestions and tools necessary for brake fluid change.
Thanks |

Oil changes are easy, there must be a hundred youtube videos on that. Total cost for oil with premium oil and OEM filter shouldn't be more than $70. Before considering a brake fluid change, about which videos also abound, make a $10 investment in a brake fluid tester, to be sure whether you need it or not.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The BMW recommendation is time based, because the car has no way to test the condition of the fluid. |

Wow I thought my local indy charging $120 for brake flush was steep.
