You just mean changing the bulbs? The install took 10 minutes from a girl. You can do it yourself Here are instructions
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=angel+eyes

I have GP Thunders 8500k. Maybe a bit too white, they are barely visible in the daytime. Nighttime they kick ass! If I had another choice (or ever want to change) I might go with 6500k or something like that, a bit less white.

You can actually put a legit HID bulb in there. I have done it on many e92 and also on my X5. Looks insane.

im really lost here guys. im torn between the GP Thunders. Im not sure if i should get the 8500k and the 7500k. i want a bright angel eye setup but do not want them to be invisible during the day. some insight would be helpful and i was wondering if anyone near the fort lee area has either setup.

I have 7500K GP Thunders. I chose them instead of the 8500K since the latter is more blue, whereas the 7500K is more white. Either solution looks better than the stock bulbs.

As for being invisible during the day you are SOL. There is currently no solution as to having "bright" angel eyes since the Kelvin rating is too high which meaans less light output (as oppose to OEM which are Yellow = visible). And I dont care what others say, the LED solutions dont work either.

If you want, PM me if you'd like to take a look at them. I'm located in Leonia.

actually i've had both and i found the 8500k to be more closer in color to the headlights. kelvin wise it is further away from oem hid's but since 8500 gives a purple hue i think it has a better color then the 7500k which has a blue tint

Quick question, I'm very tempted to buy GP Thunders 8500k but my coworkers are very much against it because they burn out fast. Any feedback on this issue?
