742M 22" Wheel weight
Does anyone know the weight of these?
In the time I've spent trying to find it online I could have just gone into the garage and pulled them off to check. Would like to know actual wheel weight though not wheel and tire. |

Heavy AF is all I can say. Take one off the back and you will see. They are definitely not forged.

I have an extra set of 742M I use for my winter setup sitting in my garage and I could always weigh one, then minus the 38lb (as per TR) Pirelli Winter tire to give you an idea if you were interested

Thanks Kief. I didn't want to wait so pulled one off the front just now to check. According to my $25 WW scale, 73.4lbs with a Conti on it that is fairly worn. Even not taking into account the tire likely weighing at least a pound less than when new, that puts it at 41.4lbs for the front rim.
So the fronts are probably in the range of about 43lbs and rear probably 46ish. (Other staggered sets I've had are usually about 3lbs different front to rear) |
