Folding mirrors
Ive noticed on my X5 that the passenger side door mirror folds in further then the driver side when locking the car.
Is this normal or something I should get seen to? |

TLDR; The reason they are different is because the mirror housings are angled differently from the mounting position on the side of the car to maximize the viewable area for the driver. Driver Side Mirror Closing https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...ht=side+mirror

Thank you for the confirmation - seems the only thing I need to get sorted is my petrol filling cap that doesn't seem to sit flush (I've seen the other thread on this issue too!)

Good lord, the amount of times I have looked out the window to check if car is locked only to notice the uneven fold in and hesitate asking the wife if I'm going crazy or is one side folded in less!
