Bimmercode adaptor
Hi all, i am trying to research and hoping this is the best place to ask.
i want to buy a OBD adaptor for BIMMERCODE APP. want to be able to use on any BMW SERIES. i also wondered what thought are on VGATE WIFI supposed to BLUETOOTH? Wifi is about £10 than Bluetooth. would i be correct by saying Wifi is more reliabe than Bluetooth. thank you all for your time and hopefully you can help me. Thanks! |

+1 for the Veepeak adapter. Still works good with bimmercode. I was coding stuff a few days ago.

Bluetooth is recommended. Wi-Fi can have drop outs. That can be disastrous if it happens during coding. There should be a link to the recommended adapters on the Bimmercode site.

My VGate hasn't worked in two years. It did originally, but then it was rendered inoperative with one of the Bimmercode software updates. This coincided with it disappearing from the Bimmercode website as a recommended adapter.

so mixed opinions here really. lol
for all cars on Bimmercode recommended adaptors in the site is. UNISCAN for around €50 OBD LINK MX+ for £140 just want the best possible for the best price. im getting confused. can anyone unconfuse me? lol sorry but thank you all! |

Maybe it's different on your side of the pond but the Veepeak Bluetooth is still listed on the Bimmercode site that I view. https://bimmercode.app/adapters/ It even has a 15% off coupon with Amazon.

also lookong at the ethernet cables ae i can imagine less to go wrong with connection?
however again a cannot see any supported cables for all series : |
