Drive recorder requirements
I recently picked up a 2020 i40 with the premium package and drive assistance professional package. It does not come with the parking assistance package.
When looking at the connected drive apps available to purchase, drive recorder says it is not available for my vehicle. I know I don't have a full 360 degree camera view, but I figured it would have at least 2 cameras - one used for backup camera - one used at the front for image processing of the road lines, cars, etc for driving assistance I called the number listed at the bottom of the page, but they didn't know the technical reason why. Is it unavailable to me because I don't have the parking assistance package? |
