Enable Apple Car Play

Just about to get a 2019 4 series and assume its got ID6

Its saying its got Apple Car Play prep does that mean I can enable Apple Car play when I get it ?

Is it free for a 2019 now and will it be cable or wireless ?

It will be wireless.
You can activate it via Connecteddrive.
In Germany it costs 300€.
This is the official way.
The unofficial way is cheaper.
