CIC to NBT Upgrade
Hi, I have Bmw F01 originally with CIC headunit and WITHOUT combox. Now I want to upgrade it to NBT and the main reason is bluetooth for calls and streaming music. So generally I want to ask what will I need besides the headunit and the controller itself. Car has rear view camera. If someone can say what is the full conversion kit (headunit cables etc.) and how much coding is requiered. I saw some threads with upgrade from cic to nbt but all with combox so not really clear to me what should I do. I presume I wouldn't need combox when installing NBT for streaming music etc.? Any information will be highly appreciated. Thanks! BR sando_.

NBT would be an expensive downgrade compared to just replacing your CIC screen with an Android screen. Look in these threads:

Hey guys I need help and i cant make a thread yet idk how im new but I have one question, I have a 320i 2014, and it seems that I have an Entry NBT system, would i be able to still get an 10.25 android screen for NBT with no issues? or would I have to do something to the headunit?

If it's Entrynav then yes. I have a 2014 320D (manufacture date of October 2014) which came with HU_Entrynav but without navigation. I bought an Android head unit and it worked perfectly, even coded HU_Entrynav to display the BMW UI for split screen.
