I just started driving a new route that I take maybe once a week. Three times now I've passed the exact same spot, and when I pass it, my speedometer and tach both shut off, my dash board lights up with check engine light, airbag light, seatbelt light, all of them. And the HUD shuts off. The needles then sweep all the way to the right and everything re-starts and goes back to normal. This is the only time (and only place) this has happened. Any ideas?

Did you happen to also lose time, maybe a handful of hours or days? Could have been an alien abduction.

Yeah it's very strange lol. I don't have a screenshot of location but it's on Route 202 in Flemington NJ, right by the Mavis Discount Tire. It's even stranger that this is the only place it happens haha and I've had the car for over a year and it hasn't done this any other time in any other location

Few others that have the 2016 340i including myself have had this issue. It had to be fixed with a software update. If your car is still covered by warranty, now would be the time to get it taken care of. If you search hard, you might find 4 years old posts discussing this issue.
