Playing music via USB in F33
Hey guys!
So I've recently subscribed to amazon HD. I was planning to listen to hi res music in my car using my Samsung S10. However when I plug it into the usb port in the armrest and play music it just plays through the speakers of the phone. Am I being stupid and missing something obvious? Bluetooth works fine but defeats the point of me using a hi res source. Thanks |

Do you have to enable something with Android? Like usb storage or something? No Samsung here but I have two different Android phones here, I'll try them in the car in the morning unless someone else stops by with the answer. It's been awhile since I've used an android car in the phone.

Thanks, much appreciated. When the phones plugged in, it asks which storage method do you want to use. From what I recall the options are file transfer, midi, image transfer or USB tethering. The only one that shows as connected on the Idrive was file transfer, so I just used that.

That’s what it was. Enable file transfer!
