F33- HK equaliser settings
Hi guys, just wanted to see if anyone could recommend some tried and tested equaliser settings that I could use on a 2015 f33 with the Harman Kardon upgrade.
Iv tried various settings such as glennQNYC but they seem quite base heavy so wondered what everyone else was using. Cheers |

The EQ settings are a personal preference. They are heavily based on the type of music you listen too. I have adjusted mine at least 10 times. Being a product of the 60's and the British Invasion, without question the greatest era of music in my lifetime, my EQ settings are as follows:
100Hz +6 200 +3 500 +2 1kHz +1 2 Even 5 -2 10 -1 Treble -7 Bass -5 Balance Even Fader +2 Logic 7 On So what I do is take 3 favorite songs and adjust EQ based on those. Since you're from UK, I don't mind revealing these which are: 1. Glad All Over-DC5 2. Hard Days Night - Beatles 3. Satisfaction- Rolling Stones. Bass I have low because the songs provide the bass of most songs I listen too. Treble is low for same reason. Fader is towards rear speakers because too much up front blows out my ears which are more sensitive at my age. Volume is usually 1/3 but I can bump up to 1/2 depending on song. Adjust the EQ one a time click by click is my suggestion until you find right combination for your music. Last edited by tympj; 06-28-2020 at 07:06 AM.. |

If you haven't done it yet, I suggest first to code the HU to Bang &Olufsen and disable ASD. Both these things should improve the SQ and make the equalization easier.
Depends what's your genre, but this is a good tracklist to use while playing with your EQ: https://www.bmw.com/en/innovation/be...akers.amp.html |
