I think she's all done...
I purchased my 17' M2 bone stock this spring with only 14k miles on it. Since then i've been tastefully modding it (mostly cosmetic wise)
This is the only picture I have of it before I started changing it (in this picture I had already tinted the windows) INTERIOR
EXTERIOR:

Rears: 19x10.5 ET35 (275/35/19) -1.7° Factory Camber PERFORMANCE

Oh, also, LOVE the Perl lip. And thanks for loading all your pix in large size on Flickr, I just wish you'd add notes to each one telling about the mods, it might really help some guys.

I have it programmed (using the Bimmercode app) so that I can turn the yellow sidemarker on or off. [More info here> https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1691279 ]

https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOR-2016-20...IAAOSw~QRaAMkw NOW, as for the fitment, I had to modify it just a tad for it to stay in place. Here are my threads about it Thread 1 (Initial install): https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...1&postcount=95 Thread 2 (Fine adjusting for better fitment): https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...5&postcount=96 |

I love the Perl Carbon front lips, so simple yet adds a nice touch to the front.

UPDATE! "Okay, I think NOW she's done"
Added the Perl Rear Bumper Extension so now I have CF Aero all around the bottom of the vehicle. Installation was easy and I think looks great I also purchased M Style Aluminum Pedals from Amazon and for under $20 shipped, they actually fit like a glove! Lastly I finally got my Shift and eBrake Boot as well as the Knee Pad and Arm Rest, Polar Blue stitching, to match my Euro Spec "Estoril Blue Like" stitch color. After going to 3 different Upholstery shops as well as reaching out to other online BMW Aftermarket sites, the cost to match the stitching was surprisingly expensive (over $500). A yard of new Alcantara is about $120, plus yarn color costs, and labor. I figured I'd first try Fabric Marker ordered from Amazon and color over the Polar Blue stitching with a darker shade of blue marker. If it came out wrong, then I would have gone with an upholstery shop. The results were shocking, nearly close match. It took over an hour and a half to carefully dye each stitch and not ink the Alcantara (the Arm-Rest and Knee pad was less of a worry as I had alcohol and a towel ready to wipe off). Anyway, easily saved myself over $500! Now, I wish I would have the Alcantara Arm Rest, but honestly I don't think it looks bad. *I did order the M Performance CF Shift Knob and eBrake and just swapped the upholstery as the white X stitch pattern it came with doesn't match properly with the interior. **No, I am not going to do the Floor Mats lol, it's barely visible and not worth it. Love it, can't get over how nice that interior looks, so much better than the stock dakota leather! I think the car would look perfect with a mild drop, are you planning on doing suspension next?

With the roads over here, my lip would be gone lol. Honestly every car i've had in the past has been lowered (three of them lost or cracked lips - RIP) but this time I'll keep it as is and not mess with the suspension. I dislike the wheel gap, but it's not "terrible" with this car compared with others (I had a 370Z Nismo in the past, massive wheel gap, had to lower it). Plus with the offset wheels I have on, I would have to go back with OE sized tires if i want to lower it. |
