Hi All,

Have refitted a new door to my car.
Am having some serious trouble fitting the drivers door lock + handle.

I can get the handles to work correctly inside and out and the central locking works fine;

but every-time i try to fit the lock, i can push it into the housing and screw it in place, but when i try to turn the key the lock just spins around and clicks.

It does not actuate the locking mechanism.

This doing my head in as I've taken out and re-fitted the lock about 5 times, turning the key to a different position each time.

I know that you have to seat the yellow plastic pin on the back of the handle into the locking mechanism and as far as i can see, it's in there. I just don't understand why it's not working.

Also, Should the central locking function when you turn the key?
As it's not currently doing this at the minute.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
