Hello all,

Is anyone waiting for a new car that's currently delayed due to another hail storm that happened last week in Munich?

I was supposed to get my new car on the 1st (fully loaded 330e) but there was a build delay due to the headrest issue I believe and now it was waiting to get loaded and it was hit by a hail storm and now all 1500 cars need to be inspected for damage with no time frame and BMW Germany not giving too much info to my dealer.

Is anyone else aware of this or waiting for a car?

Is your car still in Germany?

Mines been in the UK since Monday waiting to be dispatched to the dealers

Yes still there as far as the dealer is aware.

Hmm mine has been at port of exit for 3 weeks this may be why then how did you find out about it?

My dealer called me to tell me of the delay. They have to inspect each car which will obviously take time.

They can't update them on each one they are just told to keep monitoring the system.

Which day was this hailstorm in Munich?

I check on google, but doesn't show any hailstorm in October.

G444. C’mon Mate... You seriously checked historical weather for Munich?
I’m waiting for a 330E M Sport to be delivered first week November. I’m pretty much looking forward to taking delivery but some guys on these boards are like a five year old on Christmas morning. Relax, you’ll get your new car soon then after a few weeks you’ll get your first stone chip on the bonnet at which point it becomes a tool not a jewel. Really mean no offence ���������� Hope you take delivery soon ( for your families sake)
